Affiliate Marketing Fallacy
Its time to put and end to the lunacy that is so wide spread over the internet about affiliate marketing, the biggest fallacy is that with little to no work you can buy this book, software or program and in days you will be making thousands of dollars a day all on autopilot while you sleep.
Does this sound to good to be true? well guess what it is, affiliate marketing requires research and skills that most new would be marketers don’t poses yet, the learning curve is different for everyone there are very few that will get into affiliate marketing and make enough money to quit their jobs without spending a lot of time and effort to learn the business it does happen but its rare.
I get emails all the time about a product that will make me rich in just days, the last one I received was for a program that would make me a six figure income with adsense and I could buy it for three easy payments of $750.00. what world does this guy live in I don’t know about you but $750.00 is a lot of money to fork over for three months on a program that is betting on Google not changing the way they index sites, it was not to long ago that google de-index all the automated adsense sites and people that were making big money found them selves with out any income.
These types of programs are not a good investment they rely on things never changing, but in the real world of affiliate marketing we know that there changing all the time, the search engines don’t like automated sites that are designed for one purpose and one purpose only, to get the visitor to click on a link. The search engines want good relevant information and my friends that takes work.
Another big fallacy is where they give you this money making site for free, why would anyone give you a money making site for free? Here is how that deal works, once they have the template done for the site the time involved in setting up another one just like it takes minuets to do. Then they offer it to you for free, you have no idea if that site makes money or not you can only go by their slick sales page, so what’s the big deal its free so what’s the harm. Here is where they get you the site has to be hosted on their hosting account which can be two or three times more expensive that if you have your own hosting account, a lot of times they have MLM programs that you have to join, sure they tell you that you can just be a free member, but you can’t make any money as a free member anyone that signs up under you they will make the money not you. Plus as stated above the search engines don’t like automated sites.
Another slick little trick these marketers like to use, is either offer a product at a real low price and they will have a number of bonuses with it, you need to beware and check theses bonuses very carefully, you may just find that one of them is a free month to their membership site and in small print they add that you will be billed $29.95 a month after that until you cancel.
I’m not trying to scare anyone off that would like to get into affiliate marketing just trying to end the fallacy that you can become rich overnight with some magic program, that program or system just does not exist.
With determination and hard work you can make a good living on line, and its well within reach of making three to five thousand dollars a month with work on your part, some may be able to do this in three months and it may take others six months or a year.
Its a lot easer to do if you have a good strong support group to help you along the way and answer questions for you, and just for the record there is a automated systems that can generate income for you but it requires work on your part to get them set up and it can take months before you see any results, but once they start working they grow on their own, its called viral marketing. This article is to short to explain all the good programs avaiable they do exists but none of them will make you rich over night.
